The Sea Peoples: War on Patriarchy, War on Kings, War on War?

Many kinds of evidence link the Sea Peoples to much older Aegean and Minoan civilizations---and there, "matriculture" was the norm without much visible male authority, without autocratic kings, and without building life around war. Is it possible/likely that the Sea Peoples' tribes united around an armed struggle against them? Their final foe Pharaoh Ramses III was, after all, the last king standing...
